The Terms and Conditions are governed by the Laws of Queensland, Australia.

SECTION A – Applicant Eligibility

To be considered for an online loan application, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Be at least 18 years old.
  • Be a tax resident of Australia.
  • Have a regular after-tax income (this may include employment income, self-employment income, and government benefits).
  • Hold an active Australian bank account.

Get A Loan Finance Pty Ltd follows responsible lending practices. Applicants must demonstrate that they can comfortably meet their loan repayment obligations without experiencing financial hardship. If approving a loan would place an applicant in financial distress, we will not proceed with the application.

SECTION B – Electronic Authorisation

By submitting a form on our website, applicants consent to receive communications electronically via email, SMS, or through our website. These may include (but are not limited to):

  • Credit Guide
  • Information Statement
  • Loan application updates
  • Other relevant loan documents
  • Marketing materials (if consent has been provided)

Applicants can opt out of marketing communications at any time by contacting us at hello@getaloan.com.au.

If you do not provide the required personal information, we may be unable to process your application.

SECTION C – Credit Reporting & Privacy

We may disclose your personal information, including credit liabilities, repayments, and defaults, to credit reporting bodies (CRBs), such as:

SECTION D – Disclosure of Credit Information

CRBs may include your credit information in reports provided to credit providers to assess creditworthiness. If you fail to meet repayment obligations or commit a serious credit infringement, we may report this information to CRBs.

SECTION E – Customer Rights

As a customer, you have the right to:

  • Access personal information we hold about you.
  • Request corrections to incorrect or outdated information.
  • Lodge complaints about the handling of your personal or credit information.
  • Request that CRBs exclude your data from direct marketing pre-screening.
  • Request that CRBs do not use or disclose credit information if you suspect fraud.

SECTION F – Data Use & Disclosure

By submitting a loan application, you acknowledge that your information may be exchanged with:

  • Other credit providers and lenders.
  • Debt collection agencies (if payments are overdue).
  • Budgeting and financial counselling services (if relevant).
  • Government agencies, regulators, and law enforcement (as required by law).
  • Service providers used in delivering our services (such as IT, identity verification, and payment processing).

All personal and financial data is managed in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

SECTION G – Anti-Hawking Policy

We do not engage in unsolicited selling (“hawking”) of financial products. You may only receive loan offers from third-party lenders where you have provided explicit consent. You may withdraw consent at any time by contacting us.

SECTION H – Customer Warrant

By submitting a loan application through this website, you warrant that:

  • All information provided is accurate, complete, and not misleading.
  • You are not applying to refinance or repay another small-amount loan of up to $2,000.
  • You are not currently bankrupt or subject to external administration.
  • You understand that small-amount credit contracts (up to $2,000) may involve fixed fees instead of interest, in line with the National Credit Code.
  • You have not entered into more than two loans of up to $2,000 in the past 90 days.
  • You have read, understood, and agreed to our Privacy Policy, Credit Guide, Credit Reporting Statement, and these Terms & Conditions.

SECTION I – Refund Policy

All payments made toward your loan are final and non-refundable, except where:

  • a payment was debited without authorisation,
  • an incorrect debit occurred due to our error, or
  • an overpayment was made.

Refund requests are assessed on a case-by-case basis. Approved refunds will be processed within 7 business days, returned to your nominated bank account.

SECTION J – Complaints & Dispute Resolution

If you have a complaint, please contact us at hello@getaloan.com.au. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can escalate your complaint to the Australian Financial Complaints Authority (AFCA), Member No. 117282, for free external dispute resolution.

SECTION K – Website Terms of Use

  • You must not upload content that is unlawful, defamatory, offensive, or infringes third-party rights.
  • We do not guarantee continuous availability of the website and may update or suspend content at any time.
